Missouri Performance Assessments

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and Educational Testing Service (ETS) have partnered to create standards-based assessments for the state of Missouri. The assessments demonstrate performance in content coursework and clinical experience at the exit level for Missouri teachers, school/district leaders, school librarians and school counselors.

The Missouri Performance Assessments are required for certification by the state of Missouri. These assessments are taken during your clinical experience prior to exiting a preparation program.
